Issue: Unable to record Desktop sharing session in Skype for Business 2015 client version 15.0.4779.1001.

Recently we noticed that the Skype for Business 2015 client (version 15.0.4779.1001) does not record desktop sharing session after applying December 2015 Security update KB3114351.
When the user attempts to record the meeting with desktop sharing, only audio gets recorded without any failure or warning message about the missing video during the recording process specific to desktop sharing, PowerPoint presentation seems to be record correctly. This doesn’t happens on Skype for Business 2016 clients.
Resolution/ Workaround:
As a workaround uninstall the update (KB3114351) and roll back to Nov 2015 update, where the Skype for Business 2015 client version is 15.0.4771.1001.
If you’re using the Office 365 Click-To-Run version which is downloaded from Office 365 Portal, you need to refer to the KB article below to roll back to an earlier version of Office 365 or use below script:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX64\officec2rclient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=15.0.4745.1002 updatepromptuser=True forceappshutdown=True displaylevel=True
