Enable logging on Skype for Business (Lync)
When you’re basic troubleshooting complete and need to dig issue deeply then you must have Skype for Business (Lync) log (UCCAPILOG). You can open UCCAPILOG in notepad however Snooper tool is more efficiently and shows RED color for failure to identify issue better way. You can download Snooper here.
Before enable logging you may need to Exit the Skype for Business (Lync) client completely.
How to exit Skype for Business (Lync) client?
In the Skype for Business (Lync) main window, click the arrow next to the Options button, click File, and then click Exit.
TIP: you can enable log without exiting client and you can ON / OFF logging selecting Full = ON and Off = OFF under the Logging in Skype for Business (Lync).

How to enable Logging on the Lync Client for Windows?
1.     From the Lync 2010/13 Client Click on Tools > Options > General.
2.     Under the Logging section check Turn on logging in Lync and Turn on Windows Event logging for Lync. Click OK 
3.     Restart Lync Client.
4.     Attempt to replicate the issue.
5.     If you are using Lync 2010 client then Logs can be found in \tracing.  
Exact path for Lync 2013 client: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\Tracing
There will typically be a searchable error in there a clue to point you further in troubleshooting.
How to enable Logging on the Skype for Business Client for Windows?
First exit Skype for Business client:
1.     From the Skype for Business Client Click on Tools > Options > General.
2.     Under the Logging in Skype for Business: Full
3.     Click OK 
4.     Restart Lync Client.
5.     Attempt to replicate the issue.
6.     Logs can be found in \tracing.  
Exact path for Lync 2013 client: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\Tracing

How to enable Logging on the Lync Client for Mac?
1.     From the Lync Client Click on Lync > Preferences > General 
2.     Under Logging, click to select the Turn on logging for troubleshooting check box.
3.     Restart Lync for Mac Client and then restart Lync for Mac to create a log file.
4.     Attempt  to replicate the issue 
5.     Now Turn off logging for troubleshooting
6.     On the Lync menu, click Preferences, and then click General.
7.     Under Logging, clear the Turn on logging for troubleshooting check box
8.     Collect the log files for Lync for Mac.
a.     On the menu bar in Finder, click Go, and then click Go to Folder.
b.     In the Go to the folder box, type the path of the logs folder. For example, type /user//library/logs. Then, click Go.

Note 
 is usually the same as the user name that the user uses to log on the computer. The user name can also be found next to the House icon at the top of the Finder window.

c.      In the Logs folder, collect the log files. 


The logs are located in users/username/library/logs/Microsoft-Lync-0.log. (The zero increments as the log file grow.)

How to enable Logging on the Skype for Business Mobile app for iOS?
1.     From the Skype for Business Mobile Client - My Info screen tap Options.
2.     Under the Other section tap Logging. Toggle off to on for Enable Logging.
3.     Restart Skype for Business (Lync) Mobile App.
4.     Attempt  to replicate the issue 
Return to My Info – Options – Other – Logging. There will be a Send Log Files button. Tap it and send an email with the attached log files to yourself.

How to enable Logging on the Skype for Business (Lync) Mobile app for Android?
On the Android device, after a user is signed in, press the hardware menu button and tap Options in the menu.

Add the following part to the end of the URL to enable full logging and generate a log file.

So if you troubleshooting Skype for Business or Lync online meeting e.g. meet.mydomain.com you should have:
The log file: LWAJSPersistentX.log or where x is a number

Lync: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\LWAPlugin\Tracing
Skype: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\SkypePlugin\Tracing
