Issue: Meeting Option does not update Skype for Meeting options.
Changing Meeting option in outlook meeting invite sometime not effect on Skype for Business meetings.
This is seems like settings that get set while organizing is what being used. Reoccurring meeting updates are not so consistent. So this is Ok for individual meetings, but for recurring meeting it can painful.
Initial invite meeting options are working well however not the updates work every time.
Workaround:Ask users to send new meeting instead of sending updates whenever possible.
User has to update the meeting option twice.
1. Open existing meeting in Outlook Calendar > Click “Meeting Options” and then select “My dedicated meeting space”. Apply the changes and send the update mail.
2. Re-open the meeting in Outlook Calendar again. Click “Meeting Options” and then change the meeting options to fit your meeting requirements. Apply the changes and send the update mail.
3. Test the Meeting and updates have been taken effect.
ORRe-install the Office / Outlook to work but this is not the best option.
This is looks to be bug however I cannot reproduce issue consistently.
