Outlook does not show my Skype for Business Presence Status.
Sometime you see Outlook doesn’t show your Skype for Business / Lync presence status, it will show only Offline even though your status is Available, Busy etc.
You can simply follow below steps to fix this:
1. Simply close your Outlook and re-open to see Skype for Business Presence status.
Presence issue occurs when you close Outlook / Skype for Business but not both and reopens it.
Easy fix is restart your Outlook. In case issue persist then check below option.
2. Open Outlook> File > Options > People
Under ‘Online status and photographs’ check mark below options
a. Display online status next to name
b. Show user photographs when available (requires restarting Outlook). Refer below screenshot.
