Unable to create Group on Skype for Business on Mac client.
Recently Microsoft published Skype for Business on Mac new client which supports Peer-to-Peer desktop sharing.
If you don’t have Skype for Business on Mac then click here to get that.
Cannot add contact to Group, it shows as disabled:
Group/ New Group / Rename Group / Delete Group / Remove Contact are showing disabled even selecting group/ Contact.
Even if you select Contact / Group still you will not able to add group for Skype for Business on Mac client.
Login to Skype for Business on Desktop> Create Group > Add contact to the group.
Then access Skype for Business for Mac and newly added group and contact can be use in SfB on Mac.
Below are the known issues listed on Skype for Business on Mac client, however mentioned workaround not working.
Menu to add/rename/delete contact group are disabled right after adding a new group.
Workaround: Select any contact or group, and the menu will be re-enabled.
Adding a distribution group that has more than 100 contacts will result to 100 contacts only.
Workaround: To view the full member list of distribution group, use Outlook to expand the group.
